TFM is Total Fatty Matter, It is representative of quality/purity of soap. Generally, higher the TFM means better quality of soap. But in many cases the TFM can be replaced by Value added/ beneficial ingredients reducing the TFM

Bureau of Indian Standards classifies the Toilets soaps on the following basis.

76% and above TFM – Grade 1

70% - 75% TFM – Grade 2

60% - 69% TFM – Grade 3

Less than 60% are not classified as toilet soap as per standards. Brands below 60% TFM are classified as bathing bars

At VVF, the soaps are made from palm oil & hence of vegetable origin. The soap is made from 100% vegetable oils. The list of ingredients used our soaps, are mentioned on the soap wrapper.

Yes, the ingredients used in DOY are not harmful for the skin.

In general our soaps do not contain any ingredient that causes allergy. However, we recommend that you check the ingredients list mentioned on the soap wrapper before using the soap.

Generally our soaps suit all types of skin, our primary goal is to make products that pamper your skin. As the leading soap manufacturer of the world, we take highest possible care to provide the best for your skin. But if your skin is really sensitive, we recommend you to use the soap on a small area of skin first and see the reaction on skin for next 2 hrs. If there is no uneasiness (rash, irritation) you can use the same.

This will vary based on size of soap bought, usage, number of family members using and storage conditions. All our soaps should be stored in dry area post use. To ensure that soaps last longer we recommend that soap be kept in a soap dish which does not retain water or be kept near the shower where water falls or splashes.

Our soaps are best to use 36 months from the date of packaging. Check your soap pack for the PKD details.

There is no expiry date on soap. The manufacturing date (PKD) is over-printed on the pack. The first two digits represent month and the next two digits represent the year it was made. The pack also mentions use before period. You can use the soap for maximum period as mentioned on the pack from the date of PKD.

General skin care regime always recommends using moisturizer on your skin after cleansing off. To get the maximum benefit of Jo soap you may use your regular lotion/cream after bathing.

DOY Hydralock Series Bathing Bar can be used in any seaon. However, winter would ideally be the best season to use DOY Classic Bathing Bar.

DOY Glycerin Bathing Bar nourishes and moisturizes your skin and hence one wouldn’t necessarily need to use a moisturizer after using DOY Glycerin Bathing Bar.

If you have extra dry skin then yes, you should use some sort of moisturizer on damp skin.

DOY Hydralock Series Bathing Bar can be used by young children to adults. Hence DOY Glycerin Bathing Bar can be used by all members of the family. However we would not recommend using it on infants.

VVF products are of the best quality & every care is taken to maintain the quality. However we do not recommend the use of soap on infants.

We would not recommend that you use this or any other soap to wash your hair. We recommend using a shampoo for hair wash.

DOY Hydralock Series Bathing Bar gently nourishes and moisturizes your skin with the purest and mildest ingredients like Vitamin E, natural oils and our signature aromas which make you longing for more.

It all depends on person to person. Most of our customers say a 75gm bar of our soap lasts them between 1-2 weeks. This is based on normal use & twice bathing pattern. If you're lathering up often because you're enjoying the scent and experience, obviously the soap bar is likely to last a little less long.
To extend the life of your soap:

• Allow to dry completely between use
• Store on a well-draining soap dish
  Avoid leaving soap in direct spray of water
• Never leave in standing water
  Try using a wash cloth or shower puff instead of rubbing soap directly on the skin

We don’t have any face wash or body wash for DOY Hydralock Series currently.

Doy Nature Actives Face wash products, is safe to use if it is stored sealed in a Cool & Dry place for a maximum of 3years from date of manufacturing.

• Moisten face and neck, squeeze a small amount of DOY Nature Actives face wash onto your palm & massage onto your skin in circular motion to work up lather.
• Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry to get fresh & glowing skin after every wash
• For best results use 2-3 times in a day

When products are paraben-free it means they don’t contain any esters (a compound that is formed from acid and alcohol) of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, or chemicals like methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben. It’s important to know, however, that while parabens may make products last longer, they are also filled with cancer-causing toxins that you probably don't want in your body.

Our Skin pH is 5.5 whereas Soap Based Formulation has pH above 7.5 which is not friendly to the skin. Soap Free face wash formulation is surfactant base face wash and pH of the formulation is adjusted between 5.0 to 7.0 to minimize the harsh effects on skin.

Today DOY soaps are available in five shapes, King Samba, Teddy, Princess, Mambo, & Lucky Duck. At the moment, there are no plans of launching a new shape but at Doy we are constantly innovating and coming up with new idea so maybe something new could come up shortly.

Shea Butter is an off white colored fat extract from the nut of the African Shea tree .It is derived mainly from stearic acid and oleic acid. It is very commonly used as a moisturisation agent in cosmetics and personal care products. Shea comes from the Shea tree which makes it a natural ingredient in itself.

The key benefit of these ingredients is hydration. Hydration locks in moisture into the skin and leaves your child with soft supple and nourished skin.

The shape of the characters will last till almost the end of the soap, but the details on the soaps should last for approximately four to five baths, of course it will depend on the length of the baths and amount of time the product is exposed to water.
